The International Geek Girl Pen Pals Club, also known as the IGGPPC, is a group of worldwide geeky friends. Founded in March 2013, the club was designed to bring together the nerd community through shared interests in all things geeky, a love of stationery, and an interest in making friends!
Geek Girl Brunch is a meetup group of ladies who geek out together, typically when mimosas are involved. It started with a group of geek girls living in the NYC area, but has spread across the world and to alternate dimensions. Geek Girl Brunch hopes to create a safe environment where identifying geek girls can be themselves to give voice, network, create friendships, inspire each other and hang out!
Winning teams gets street cred, bar cash and other prizes depending on the venue. Bonus Questions for free pints are sprinkled throughout the quiz. It’s not final friggin’ Jeopardy.
Launched in November 2009, Girls on the Grid (GOTG) is a lifestyle blog focused on the daily lives of professional women in Sacramento. Whether you work in state government, for a PR firm or local non-profit, one thing is clear – we all share the daily struggle to balance work with our own personal lives. We believe everyone has a story worth sharing – what’s yours?
GOTG will serve as a creative outlet for professional women to share experiences/advice, editorialize on local issues, and celebrate the organizations/businesses that make Sacramento an amazing place to live, work and play.
