Five Fandom Friday – Halloween Candy I Always Wanted When Trick-Or-Treating

It’s Friday. That means another edition of Five Fandom Friday from geeky bloggers all over thanks to the genius of Super Space Chick and The Nerdy Girlie. Today’s topic: Halloween Candy I Always Wanted When Trick-Or-Treating. My choices are below.

How can you not love this candy bar with its deliciously smooth chocolate, crispy delectable cookie, and luscious rich caramel? Twix is from Mars and I’ve loved it well before it made its appearance in Season 9 of Seinfeld.

Baby Ruth

This candy bar has a nutty, chewy taste with the peanuts, caramel, and nougat wrapped in chocolate. Baby Ruth also happens to be infamous for its role in several films: Caddyshack, Hellboy, and of course Goonies.

Milky Way

Milky Ways also happen to be a combination of nougat and caramel covered in chocolate (do you see a theme with my favorite candies?). It’s very similar to a 3 Musketeers, but so much better!

100 Grand

100 Grand is a crunchy (crisped rice), chewy (caramel), and chocolaty. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why this is a lesser known and not as widely disseminated candy bar. So I always got really excited when I received it.

Reese’s Pieces

The ultimate combination of peanut butter and chocolate is what lands Resse’s Pieces in the final spot on my list. I always preferred these over M&Ms and I’m sure my love of Reese’s has absouluitely nothing to do with that cute little extra-terrestrial liking them too.

And that’s my list of Halloween Candy I Always Wanted When Trick-Or-Treating for Fandom Friday. As you can see I’m a big fan of the combining chocolate with caramel or peanut butter or peanuts. Check out more candy cravings from these women:

If reading about my candy cravings hasn’t got you hungry for sugar, you can head over to twitter and search #Fandom5 to salivate over even more candy choices. What kinds of candy did you always hope to get when you went trick-or-treating?

    1. When I was looking up more info on my favorite candy bars, I came across that tidbit. I don’t understand why the name change. So weird. Maybe we should mail each other one and compare?
